I am:
1st: a child of the all-knowing, gracious and merciful God
2nd: a wife to a patient, talented and intelligent husband
and 3rd: a stay-at-home mom to a beautiful, kind and talkative 2 1/2 year old daughter
{These are my priorities in life, although it's a lifelong challenge for me to make reality match up with my ideal.}

What you'll read about on my blog are primarily:
- the crafts I make (my favorites are my Korker Cake Banner an Oilcloth Art Smock, and Rainbow Ice and I plan to add more tutorials and ideas based on my education and degrees in Psychology, such as the Emotional Animals Game),
- the travels we take (most recently to Charleston, SC, Wrightsville Beach, NC and Washington, DC),
- the food I bake (like Homemade Fruit Leather, Homemade Tortilla Chips and Vanilla Bean Scones).
I also love to share with you:
- coupon codes and new lines for my Etsy shop, SweeterThanSweets (where you can shop for sweet somethings for the little ones in your life... and some for the mamas, too!)
- the inspiration I find (my favorite Inspiration Boards are A Smurfy Wedding and Sail Away With Me),
- helpful resources (like my Tips for Traveling with Tots series and How to Get Yourself Featured on high-profile blogs),
- what I believe as an evangelical Christian (find a general overview on my Resurrection Eggs Tutorial),
- charities my husband and I have felt called to give to (like Kiva.org and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation).
***Disclaimer(s)***
What you see on this blog represents only a part of my life. I'll share with you mostly the positive things in my life, because I feel there is enough negativity in the world without me needing to add to it on my blog. You won't read about the frustrations I have with my husband, the power struggles I have with my daughter, the disappointments I have with myself or the mold that's growing in my shower (though they all exist, trust me). I won't share too much about me personally because I'm more of a private person, and you won't see many pictures of my husband... he's even more private and not even on Facebook (gasp!). Despite all of these disclaimers, I hope you like my blog anyway. =)Find me online:
Hi, I would love to feature your cork ribbon bunting on our blog over at fiesta resistance. I would love it if you could get back to me. Thank you.
