Chalkboard Inspirations

Although I haven't tried it for myself yet, I am loving the idea of chalkboard paint. I've seen so many great uses online but I've chosen the most unique creations to show you!

  1. I love the idea of the chalkboard wall where the kids could doodle! If I had a space in my home I think I would do this....my grandkids would love it!!

  4. The family chalkboard center is a cute idea! The chalk board headboard is neat, too, but sadly I live in an apartment and could never do that. :(

  5. That headboard one is certainly a novel idea. lol. I've seen some fun tutorials where you can make your own chalkboard paint and even make it in different colors.

  7. I haven't used it yet either (I'm glad I'm not the only one)! I plan to try painting it on some clipboards first and then see how addicted I get. I also like the idea of painting label sized rectangles onto canisters for labeling whatever is inside.

    They're not made from the chalkboard paint from the store, but they're much more durable and comfortable. Check them out!

  11. We painted the center of our cabinets with chalkboard paint and used it for grocery lists, little love notes to each other, and just fun stuff with friends!

  14. I love the chalkboard wine bottles. I've noticed when I've been on house tours by local builders that the children's room usually have a chalkboard wall.

  18. I "chalkboarded" the tops of mason jars and pickle jars for kitchen storage labelling, a big board that my sister added magnets to the back of the we use for a chores list, and the inside of picture frames for wedding table numbers, and an old vase I found at value village!
