Here is Little Sweets with one of her cutie cousins. Can you tell how much they love each other?
We met up with my BFF and her family at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. Little Sweets tried on a fox fur. (I was a bit grossed out by the fox's face and legs, but she didn't mind at all.)
We spent a perfect Autumn day at Apple Hill in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Apple Hill is a beautiful area full of apple orchards, wineries and pumpkin patches. My family goes there for one day each Fall and we were so thankful to be able to join them this year!
It was such an awesome experience to see all the kids enjoy playing outside--no battery-powered toys, no planned activities, just the great outdoors. They rolled down hills, climbed trees, threw rocks into the lake and got covered in dirt. (This all happened after we "fueled up" on apple pie a la mode, of course.)
As we drove back down the hill, we caught a glimpse of Sacramento at sunset.
And last but not least, here's a picture of Little Sweets holding her newest cousin (and the reason for our trip to California). We got to meet her when she was just 4 days old, so it was perfect timing to meet this perfect baby!
More pictures to come of our trip to the pumpkin patch!
